Day of the Dead - Thursday, Oct. 30
The 17th Street Farmers’ Market celebrates the Mexican holiday Day of the Dead with traditional Mexican dishes like tamales, empanadas and tacos along with live performances from traditional Aztec musicians and dancers. The event is free to attend. Food and beverage are available for purchase. 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Fire, Flour & Fork - Oct. 30 to Nov. 2
Fire, Flour & Fork is a four-day culinary gathering in downtown Richmond. What to expect: 13 dinners with Richmond and out-of-town chefs, 6 signature lunches, 18 book signings, 48 demos and talks, a Festival of the Hungry Ghosts, Mary Randolph's Moveable Feast, an Artisanal Tasting Tent and more.
