The Gardens at Twin Hickory

The 4th Annual Shockoe-on-the–Half Festival in Richmond is a celebration of oysters, and music. This Saturday, get out of your apartments in Richmond and have some fun with friends, oysters, music and neighbors. This is a fun festival.

One of Richmond’s hottest rock, jazz, hip-hop and funk bands, Proverbial, will entertain with live music. They are beginning their East Coast tour in Richmond.

The food vendor’s plan all year for this festival. There will be exciting varieties of oysters prepared almost every way imaginable. Whether you like them raw, steamed, on pizza, frittered, fried, or stewed there will be plenty of ways to eat them. For those who want “turf” rather than “surf”, we offere beef barbeque sandwiches, hotdogs and hamburgers.
